Now You Can Meet Elena of Avalor on the West Coast Too

As Disney’s first Latina princess, Elena of Avalor means a lot to Latina women every where. It’s not just the fact that she’s Latina, but that she’s a strong role model for little girls across the world. Elena is more than a pretty princess, she is adventurous, bold, smart, and caring. She puts family first, while balancing the duties and responsibilities that come with being a ruler. The Disney Channel show debut earlier this year, and has been a huge success for the channel. While Elena of Avalor doesn’t have her own movie (yet) she has been established by the company as an official Disney Princess. Now you and your little girl have the chance to meet Elena of Avalor in real life.

This summer Elena of Avalor debut at the Magic Kingdom Park, where guests could see her coronation as an official Disney Princess. Guests gathered daily to welcome, and get a glimpse of, Disney’s newest princess. Now, fans of the Disney Channel show can meet Elena of Avalor at the Disneyland Resort as well. Starting yesterday, guests can see Elena of Avalor live in her debut parade at Disney’s California Adventure Park.

In the parade, Elena arrives on a beautiful float featuring Spanish style architecture, pink flowers and twinkling lights. The parade begins with several performers dancing in colorful costumes. Elena sings several songs live, while dancers interact with guests. There are even a few magical surprises. The parade will take place several times a day for guests to enjoy in conjunction with the park’s Viva Navidad! celebration near the Parkway Grill.

After the parade be sure to stop for a photo opportunity and meet Elena of Avalor herself in her beautiful coronation dress. Lines can get long, so make sure to get in line early to avoid missing your opportunity. Disney Annual Passholders – make sure to take advantage of your free digital downloads.
