Mickey’s Halloween Party Gets New Parade
Mickey’s Halloween Party Offers Park Guests More in 2016
Halloween time at Disney parks is one of the most magical times to visit. The light posts and shop windows are decked out with Halloween decor, and your favorite characters dress up in costume. Mickey’s Halloween Party is a special event that takes place at Disneyland each year between the end of September until Halloween night.
Mickey’s Halloween Party Attractions
Why would anyone buy an extra ticket for just a few hours at Disneyland? During Mickey’s Halloween Party guests are treated to extra special experiences. The park comes alive at night with floating Mickey ghouls, Halloween projections, and haunting decor.
Trick-or-Treaters young and old are treated to mountains of candy. Trick or Treat stations are set up throughout the park, where guests can stop and fill up their bags. The Haunted Mansion Holiday is a must. The Haunted Mansion receives a complete overhaul, bringing Halloween Town and scenes from The Nightmare Before Christmas to life. See Jack, Zero and all their friends prepare for their first ever Christmas.
Parades & Fireworks
New to the event this year is the “Frightfully Fun Parade.” The Pumpkin King himself brings Halloween Town to Disneyland, with its residents ready to share their spooky traditions with park guests. Those ghostly dancers from the Haunted Mansion have escaped. Expect to see them gliding down the parade route in all their haunting glory. The parade will also include appearances by famous Disney villains, including Dr. Facilier and is Shadow Men from Disney’s The Princess and the Frog.
Don’t miss the Ride of the Headless Horseman on Main Street USA. Paying us a visit from Sleepy Hollow is the Headless Horseman on his black stallion. His glowing jack-o-lantern lights his way as he gallops through Main Street searching for a new head.
Don’t miss the Halloween Screams Fireworks show, which can only be viewed during Mickey’s Halloween Party. Each night Jack Skellington introduces Disney’s greatest villains as they wreak havoc across the night sky, and Sleeping Beauty’s castle. Zero flies through the sky to music of Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas, as fireworks and flames fill the air. Every villain from Ursula to Cruella makes an appearance in this dazzling nighttime spectacular.
