Check Out How You Can Save With The New Walt Disney World Dining Plan

A trip to Walt Disney World is often a trip of a lifetime. Thanks to high prices, it’s also often a once in a lifetime vacation. That’s because a Walt Disney World vacation can be incredibly expensive. Whether you’re springing for the Grand Floridian Resort, or staying at one of the economy resorts, a trip to Cinderella’s castle can cost you thousands. Part of what makes Walt Disney World so expensive is the cost of dining. Thankfully there’s a new Walt Disney World dining plan that will make dining at Disney’s Magic Kingdom park less expensive, even if you aren’t staying at a Disney hotel.

Currently, Disney dining plans are exclusive to hotel guests, but soon all park guests will be able to take advantage of meal plan savings of up to 20%. The popular Disney Quick Service Dining Plan is affordable, and gives you points you can redeem at quick service restaurants found throughout the parks. However, it’s exclusive to guests staying at one of the Walt Disney resort properties. The new Walt Disney World dining plan means that families can enjoy two meals at the Magic Kingdom for just $29 for adults, and $12 for children.

The new Walt Disney World dining plan will be called Disney Dine on the Go, and includes a coupon for any meal before 4 p.m., and one meal after 4 p.m. The coupons can be redeemed at Pinocchio’s Village Hause, Pecos Bill Tall Tale Inn and Cafe, Columbia Harbor House, Cosmic Ray’s Starlight Cafe and Casey’s Corner.

Guests can begin to purchase Disney Dine and Go meal plans starting on January 12th through February 22nd. If the program is well received the meal plan will likely be extended. You can purchase the new Walt Disney World dining plan at the Magic Kingdom ticket booths or at Guest relations.

Disney Dining Tips

At Walt Disney World even quick service restaurants offer unique experiences. At Casey’s Corner you can take in a great view of Cinderella’s castle at night. Grab your chili dog and rest on one of the outdoor tables overlooking the enchanted castle. Dine at Pinocchio’s Village Haus for a view on the inside of the “It’s a Small World” attraction. For Mexican fare, and an Old Western flare try Pecos Bill Tale Inn and Cafe. For seafood, dine at the Columbia Harbor House.
