Accio Harry Potter Books. J.K. Rowling to Release New Potter Ebooks this Fall.

On the heals of the success of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child, in a collaboration with Pottermore, J.K. Rowling will release three additional short stories based on the Potter universe.

Hogwarts Ebooks

With the play taking over London’s Palace Theatre, and Fantastic Beasts hitting theaters this November, Potter fans have much to celebrate. Now there’s even more to celebrate as Rowling puts pen to paper once more to explore Hogwarts as never before. The new Harry Potter ebooks are scheduled for a September 2016 release date.

The stories are titled:

As the titles convey, the first two Harry Potter ebooks will be about the political system of the wizarding world which includes the Ministers of Magic. The books will also provide more details about Azkaban, and give insight into Hogwarts most famous (and infamous) professors. Prepare to get some questions answered as we learn more about Minerva McGonagall, Horace Slughorn and Remus Lupin among others.

Fans will remember McGonagall as Harry Potter’s protective mother-figure, while Remus provided a connection to his lost parents. Slughorn appeared in later novels, and played a key role in Voldermort’s rise to power. Insight into these dynamic characters should answer some long standing questions, and help fans better understand the wizarding world.

The third ebook in the series, Hogwarts an Incomplete and Unreliable Guide will reveal more about the magical school’s most hidden secrets, and promises to provide more information about the ghosts who haunt Hogwarts.

The ebooks are priced at $2.99 each, and are available for pre-order now on Amazon, Barnes and Noble, and iBooks. Click the titles above to reserve your copy now.

Harry Potter and the Cursed Child Play

Harry Potter & The Cursed Child

On July 31st, Harry Potter & The Cursed Child hit book stores. The book, receiving mixed reviews, is a copy of the rehearsal script for the London stage play. Some Potter fans have expressed issues with major plot lines, while others were disappointed by the lack of detail Rowling is known for. Regardless, the play is garnering fabulous reviews and tickets are selling out within minutes. The play takes place where Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows left off, giving us a glimpse of the titular characters as adults. While the play was written by play write Jack Thorne, not Rowling, it includes those heart wrenching moments Potter fans have come accustomed to. For those looking for more closure than the final book provided, Harry Potter & The Cursed Child does the trick.

For even more Wizarding World, fans can look forward to Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find them hitting theaters November 18th, 2016. Watch the trailer below. Will you purchase the new Harry Potter ebooks or have you had enough of Potter?
