Check Out All the Special Treats Being Offered at California Adventure Park for the Holidays

Disney Parks go all out for the holidays, and California Adventure Park in Anaheim, California is no exception. Have a California Adventure holiday by enjoying California themed lands decked out in holiday decor. This year, in addition to the traditional seasonal goodies offered at California Adventure restaurants, guests can enjoy traditional holiday foods from across the globe. Boardwalk Pizza and Pasta California Adventure

Boardwalk Pizza & Pasta

Located between the California Screamin’ Coaster and the Goofy’s Flight school attractions sits the Boardwalk Pizza Pasta restaurant. It’s also the location where guests can meet Elena of Avalor, take in a couple of holiday themed parades and listen to live music. The restaurant will be serving a chorizo pizza for the season, featuring a thick crust, milk-tomato sauce, mozzarella and cotija cheese, spicy chorizo, fresh pico de gallo and tomatillo cilanto crema drizzle. For dessert, try the pumpkin cheesecake or a snowman shortbread cookie.

Paradise Garden Grill California Adventure

Paradise Garden Grill

Located beside the Boardwalk Pizza & Pasta restaurant, the Paradise Garden Grill’s gone Mexican for the holidays. This quick service restaurant typically serves Mediterranean fare, but undergoes a complete menu overhaul for the holidays to help celebrate Viva Navidad! The California Adventure holiday menu will feature:

  • Street-style tacos – a trio of corn tortilla tacos filled with carnitas, carne asada and chicken topped with white onion and fresh cilantro, served with rice and black beans.
  • Chicken Mole Plate – slow cooked chicken with mole sauce, topped with queso blanco, and served with cilantro rice and tortillas.
  • Burrito – a flour tortilla filled with black beans, cilantro rice and a choice of meat
  • Torta al Pastor – a soft telera roll provides the bread for this sandwich filled with chorizo beans, al pastor, cabbage, guacamole and Mexican crema
  • Bunuelos – two golden-fried flour tortillas are dusted with cinnamon-sugar, and served with a side of cajeta.

Clarabelle’s Hand Scooped Ice Cream

You can find all sorts of decadent frozen treats at Clarabelle’s. During the California Adventure holiday season the ice cream shop will offer crushed candy canes and holiday sprinkles as toppings for hand-dipped ice cream bars. Crushed candy cane sugar cones will be available for a limited time as well. Try the hot cocoa bar with cinnamon-spiced, dark chocolate Ghiradelli or white chocolate Ghiradelli cocoa when the sun goes down.

Pacific Wharf Cafe

The Pacific Wharf Cafe is the perfect place to dine when you’re feeling a bit chilly. The quick service restaurant offers a selection of piping hot soups served in fresh sourdough bread bowls. For the holidays, the restaurant will offer:

  • Turkey Pot Pie Soup
  • Pumpkin Spice Bread Pudding
  • Gingerbread Man Cookie
  • Holiday Sugar Cookie
  • Candy Cane-shaped bread
  • Christmas tree-shaped bread

California Adventure Hotel

When you need to warm up, take a short walk over to the California Adventure Hotel & Spa. The hotel lobby has been beautifully decorated for the season, featuring a large California-themed Christmas tree. The hotel lobby is the perfect place to enjoy a hot chocolate, while you cozy up by the fire. At the hotel lobby guests can purchase a variety of seasonal goodies like:

  • Gingerbread Man Cookie
  • Mini Gingerbread House
  • Snowman Shortbread Cookie
  • Cake Pops
  • Panettone
  • Hot Chocolate
  • Peppermint Hot Chocolate
  • Hot Cider
