Disney Channel to Debut New “Tangled Before Ever After” Original Movie in March

Mandy Moore and Zachary Levi will reprise their roles as Rapunzel and Flynn Rider in the upcoming “Tangled Before Ever After.” Set between “Tangled,” and the Disney short “Tangled Ever After,” the Disney Channel Original Movie “Tangled Before Ever After” will debut on Friday, March 10th at 8 p.m. EST. The original movie will set the scene for the highly anticipated premiere of “Tangled: The Series” which debuts Friday, March 24th at 7:30 pm EST.

The new Tangled TV movie and series take us back to the Kingdom of Corona as Rapunzel acquaints herself with her parents, her kingdom and the people she is to rule over. Viewer’s can expect the same spirit and curiosity from Rapunzel as she takes steps towards assuming her role as Princess of Corona.

Both the movie and the series will bring back beloved characters from the film to help Rapunzel on her journey including her love Eugene; loyal chameleon sidekick, Pascal; no-nonsense horse, Maximus; and the Snuggly Duckling Pub thugs. The series will introduce new characters to the Rapunzel universe, including Cassandra, a tough-as-nails lady-in-waiting, who becomes Rapunzel’s good friend and confidante. Broadway’s Eden Espinosa will lend her voice as Cassandra in the series.

Tangled Before Ever After

The Disney Channel Original Movie begins as Rapunzel grapples both the new responsibilities of being princess, and the struggle of having an overprotective father. While she wholeheartedly loves Eugene, Rapunzel doesn’t share his immediate desire to get married and settle down within the castle walls. She is determined to live life on her own terms, which leads her to embark on a secret adventure with Cassandra. Along her journey, Rapunzel encounters magic that causes her long blonde locks to grow back.

“Tangled Before Ever After” will be available on the Disney Channel app and Disney Channel VOID platforms starting on Friday, March 10. “Tangled: The Series” will be available beginning Friday, March 24th.
